You have probably noticed we have been selling a lot more rugs in the past 6 months. We have a great connection for hand woven, high quality rugs - both vintage and new. Todd's passion for rugs started when he worked for a persian rug store in Athens. He always tells me that when he loves something he immerses himself in it and becomes as knowledgeable as possible on the subject. I'm just lucky that he has taught me :)
We love the way persian rugs pair with mid century furniture. To us, it's quality matching quality. Similar to our vintage furniture, these rugs have a story. I always want to know... where did it come from, what was their inspiration in making it, and how old is it?? Since these rugs are also hand woven they can take a beating! I think most of us have pets or kids and it's nice to know you don't have to fret about destroying your rug. Honestly, what's not to love about hand woven persian rugs ;)
