About Atomic

Atomic evolved from our combined passion for design and appreciation for quality home furnishings built in the 50s and 60s. We also love being part of the creative and vintage community, proudly showcasing over 30 talented vendors in our store. People usually find it humorous that we met when I bought a piece of mid-century furniture from Todd off Craigslist while working on an interior design project. It didn’t take long for us to tie the knot and start our dream business.

We search high and low to find these timeless gems and then restore them to their original beauty. Each piece is handpicked by us, guided by our simple rule: we don’t purchase anything we wouldn’t want in our own home. This job is multi-faceted, and any given day might find us on the road in our Sprinter van picking up furniture, upholstering chairs and sofas, refinishing and restoring credenzas, photographing and staging new inventory, or dreaming up what Atomic could become in the future.

One thing is certain—our work is never boring, and we’re often told to take a day off! But we love what we do, and we’re so grateful to share it with you. Thank you for being part of our journey.
