The colors deeply reminded me of a Maypop (or passion flower) so the name just had to be "Maypop"!
This round woven wall hanging is so different and fun! The details throughout add so much interest while the bold + bright palette brings joy + texture to any space.
The round shape is pretty unique for a textile piece and it is made with some of my favorite yarns sourced from other small businesses including the super chunky marbled grey wool yarn on the outside - hand felted in Nepal.
The weaving is permanently wrapped around a sturdy metal hoop, so the piece can either be hung on the wall with a single nail (from any spot around the hoop) or it can simply lean on a shelf or any favorite space. Incorporate it into a gallery wall or let it be on its own as a standout piece.
